This is a used external enclosure drive kit. I used it with a DVD-Rom drive but since have upgraded the PC and no longer need this item. Includes the enclosure, power cable, USB cable, driver CD and Installation Manual.
The USB 2.0 drive kit developed by ADS Technologies not only allows you to run any ATA hard drive you choose, but also supports CD and DVD drives. Many external drives do not have their own on/ off switches. The ADS USB Kit, by contrast, does. A positive feature: the small ventilator, which makes almost no noise at all. The kit comes with a power cable, a USB cable and a small power supply unit. Windows 2000 and Windows XP do not need any drivers whatsoever. Windows 98, by contrast, does. ADS Tech. has packed everything you need onto a single CD.
